At GYASEEL, we undertook a comprehensive urban planning and infrastructure revitalization study for the Bhor Municipal Council under the Maharashtra Suvarnajayanti Nagarotthan Abhiyaan. This flagship initiative by the Government of Maharashtra focuses on upgrading urban infrastructure, improving municipal services, and enhancing the overall quality of life in emerging towns. Located in the Pune District, Bhor represents a region with both historical significance and future growth potential.
Our work included detailed infrastructure gap assessments, GIS-based municipal mapping, and phased development planning. The project aimed to align Bhor’s urban transformation with sustainable development goals, leveraging state-level funding frameworks, policy alignment, and smart governance practices to create a resilient and future-ready municipal ecosystem.
Development of a Strategic Urban Infrastructure Upgrade Plan in line with Nagarotthan Abhiyaan goals
Assessment of municipal service delivery with actionable strategies to close infrastructure gaps.
Geospatial mapping of wards and utilities to support smart planning and asset optimization.
This project underscores GYASEEL’s commitment to driving inclusive, sustainable, and scalable urban development in Maharashtra. The work done in Bhor lays the foundation for a self-reliant and efficient municipality, enhances civic infrastructure, and supports the Government’s mission to strengthen tier-3 urban centers.
